Today I wanted to write a little about gratitude and focusing on the GOOD things in your life. Unfortunately it is SO easy to get caught up in all the 'bad' things. But, have you ever noticed that once you start focusing on a couple of bad things...that's ALL you start to notice and that's ALL that you seem to get? I am willing to bet...that if that is true, then the opposite must be true as well. I am thinking that if we were to focus on a couple of GOOD things, then we would start to notice MORE of the good things that happen to us and we would be attracting more GOOD into our lives. So anyway, that's what I was THINKING about writing about today and then... all of a sudden, this story below came into my inbox.... talk about bringing about good things!
I am sharing it here with you and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

The Old Cherokee and The Boy
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.
"The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply stated, "The one you feed."
